Managing Idea Categories

    MANAGING IDEA CATEGORIES

    Idea categories can be used to group similar ideas or modules together. Users can filter idea posts into separate idea categories when viewing the Idea Module.

    Requirements

    To create, edit, and delete idea categories, users must be assigned a role with the following permissions:

    • All Entities, Idea Category: Read
    • All Entities, Idea Category: Create
    • All Entities, Idea Category: Edit
    • All Entities, Idea Category: Delete
    • Tab Settings, Ideas: On
    • App Settings: App with the Ideas Tab must be Visible

    TO CREATE A NEW IDEA CATEGORY:

    1. Navigate to the Ideas Tab.
    2. On the right sidebar, next to Categories click the + button.
    3. Enter a name for the category and then click Save.

    TO MANAGE IDEA CATEGORIES:

    1. Navigate to the Ideas Tab.
    2. On the right sidebar, under Categories locate the idea category you want to manage.
    3. If you want to edit it, click the Pencil icon. Make your changes and then click Save.
    4. If you want to delete it, click the Trash can icon. Click Ok.
