Ideas Checklist


    Before users can use the Ideas module, the module must first be configured. See Setting Up Modules before proceeding.

    • Configuring Ideas Security Permissions

      Administrators must first configure security role permissions for users to post and vote in the Ideas module.
    • Managing Idea Categories

      Users can create Idea categories to sort Idea posts.
    • Posting Ideas

      Post ideas to propose changes to products, services, or processes, and receive input from other users.
    • Collaborating on Ideas

      Collaborate on ideas to support or offer your opinion on the idea. Users can vote on ideas to agree or disagree with the poster, comment on ideas to offer their own opinions or suggestions, or report ideas that are inappropriate.
    • Managing the Ideas Module

      Manage the Ideas module to update an idea post's Idea Review Status or process Abuse Reports.
    • Configuring the Ideas Module

      Configure the Ideas module to set how the Ideas Tab handles and displays idea posts.
