Configuring Language Settings

    CONFIGURING LANGUAGE SETTINGS

    The Magentrix portal can be configured for several languages. Configuring Language Settings specifies the languages allowed on the portal and its modules. For example, the Articles module allows users to specify a language for Articles during creation.

    Requirements

    To configure Language Settings, users must be assigned a security role with the following permissions:

    • Administrator System Role

    TO ADD A LANGUAGE:

    1. In the Setup Home page, click Manage > Language Settings.
    2. Click Add Language.
    3. In the Language dropdown list, select a language.
    4. If you want the language to be active after addition, check Active.
    5. Click Save.

    TO ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE A LANGUAGE:

    1. In the Setup Home page, click Manage > Language Settings.
    2. In the Action column beside the language you want to activate or deactivate, click Edit.
    3. If you want to activate or deactivate the language, check or uncheck Active, respectively.
    4. Click Save.
