Article Reporting

    ARTICLES REPORTING

    Administrators can use the Reports Tab to monitor Article activity and create personalized reports. Overview reports show visits and category information of all posts within Article Type. This feature provides insights into the activity, audience and popularity of published articles.

    Requirements

    To enable and access Article Reporting, users must have the following user permissions:

    • Administrator System Role

    TO ACCESS ARTICLE REPORTS:

    1. In the Setup Home page, click Create > Articles.
    2. Click on the Article Type you wish to analyze.
    3. Click the Reports Tab.

    Administrators will get a snapshot of article type activity including:

    • A Serial Line Chart showing activities of the Article Type (Last Week, Last Month, This Month).
    • A Pie Chart of Posts by Category.

    Administrators can access more in-depth reports by clicking any of the Detailed Reports. Detailed Reports measures activity, usage, user and popularity of posts filtered by date. These reports are pre-populated with data from the default date range. You can also access these reports through the Magentrix Reports Tab. The reports are located in the Administrative Reports folder.

    Optionally:

    1. Set date field or range or select specific dates.
    2. Click Run Report. Results will be displayed on the page.

     

    TO CREATE PERSONALIZED ARTICLE REPORTS:

    1. In the Setup Home page, click Create > Articles.
    2. Click on the Article Type you wish to analyze.
    3. Click the Reports Tab.
    4. Click the Report you want to edit.
    5. Click Actions > Save As.
    6. Enter a name for the report, then select a personal report folder, and then click Save.
    7. A copy of the report will be saved in the chosen location. Go to the Reports Tab to edit the report as required.
