Creating Co-Branded Collateral Templates

    Managers can upload or link collateral from the Magentrix Documents Library to the Playbook gallery.  On the download of co-branded collateral, co-branding logos and company information will automatically be inserted into predefined fields in the collateral document.

    Co-branded templates for each collateral file must be uploaded for co-branding to be inserted. Templates must have elements with specific properties to allow an optimized output of co-branded assets.

    *Note: You can create any number of placeholders within your document.

    PDF template - Adobe Acrobat

    Placeholder Logo:

    1. Insert a text field for the placeholder image. The recommended size is 1.7 in x 0.8 in.
    2. Go to Text-Field Properties and configure the following:
      • Name: Enter "MAGX_LOGO[Number]" e.g. MAGX_LOGO1, MAGX_LOGO2, etc.
      • Read Only checkbox: Enabled
    3. Select the Appearance tab and configure the following:
      • Border Color: No Color
      • Fill Color: Dark Gray
      • Font Size: 14
      • Text Color: White
      • Font: Helvetica Bold
    4. Select the Options tab and configure the following:
      • Alignment: Center
      • Default Value: "LOGO HERE"
      • Multi-line checkbox: Enabled
    Note*: Do not copy-and-paste existing text fields. Create a new text field each time.

    Company Information:

    1. Insert a text field for your company information. Go to Text-Field Properties and configure the following:
      • Name: Enter "MAGX_INFO[Number]" e.g. MAGX_INFO1, MAGX_INFO2, etc.
      • Read Only checkbox: Enabled
    2. Select the Appearance tab and configure the following:
      • Border Color: None
      • Fill Color: None
      • Font Size: 8
      • Font: Helvetica
    3. Select the Options tab and configure the following:
      • Alignment: Left
      • Default Value: Provide a sample of company information. E.g. Name, Company, Address, Email, Phone, Website.
      • Multi-line checkbox: Enabled

    Additional Information:

    Optional for 2018 Spring Release
    1. Insert a text box field for additional information. Go to Text-Field Properties and configure the following:
      • Name: Enter "MAGX_ADDITIONAL[Number]" e.g. MAGX_ADDITIONAL1, MAGX_ADDITIONAL2, etc.
      • Read Only checkbox: Enabled
    2. Select the Appearance tab and configure the following:
      • Border Color: None Fill Color: None Font Size: 8 Font: Helvetica
    3. Select the Options tab and configure the following:
      • Alignment: Left
      • Default Value: Provide a sample of additional information.
      • Multi-line checkbox: Enabled

    Word template - Microsoft Word

    Placeholder Logo:

    1. Go to the Insert tab and click Text Box and then click Simple Text Box.
    2. Drag and drop the text box to where you want the logo to appear.
      Note*: The recommended size for the logo placeholder is 1.7 in x 0.8 in.
    3. In the text box, enter placeholder text.
    4. Right-click the Text Box and then click Format Shape.
    5. In the Format Menu configure the following:
      • Fill Color: Gray
      • Line Color: No Color
      • Layout Options: In Front of Text
    6. Select the placeholder text. In the Insert tab, click Bookmark. Enter "MAGX_LOGO[Number]" e.g. MAGX_LOGO1, MAGX_LOGO2, etc. as the bookmark field and then click Add.

    Company Information:

    1. Go to the Insert tab and click Text Box and then click Simple Text Box.
    2. Drag and drop the text box to where you want the company information to appear.
    3. In the text box, enter sample company information. E.g. Name, Company, Address, Phone, Email, Website.
    4. Right-click the text box and click Format Shape. Configure the style options.
    5. Select all of the sample company information text. In the Insert tab, click Bookmark. Enter "MAGX_INFO[Number]" e.g. MAGX_INFO1, MAGX_INFO2, etc. as the bookmark field and then click Add.

    Additional Information:

    Optional for 2018 Spring Release
    1. Repeat the same steps as Company Information for steps 1-2.
    2. In the text box, enter sample additional information.
    3. Close the options box and in the Home tab, click Align Text Left.
    4. Select all of the sample additional information text. In the Insert tab, click Bookmark. Enter "MAGX_ADDITIONAL[Number]" e.g. MAGX_ADDITIONAL1, MAGX_ADDITIONAL2, etc. as the bookmark field and then click Add.
