Overview of Magentrix AI Services
Magentrix leverages AI to enhance specific experiences within the platform. These AI-powered services are designed to improve usability, streamline workflows, and help users get better results with less effort. All AI services are built with data privacy as a core principle.
One example is AI-Search Optimization, powered by Google’s Gemini, which improves the user’s search query before the platform runs the search.
What AI-Search Optimization Is (and Is Not)
AI-Search Optimization is not Semantic Search.
It does not interpret intent, expand meaning, or perform similarity-based retrieval across content.
Instead, it focuses on query enhancement, such as:
correcting spelling mistakes
fixing basic grammar issues
normalizing or cleaning up the query so it’s more “search-friendly”
After the query is enhanced, Magentrix runs the search as usual, using the improved query text.
Example Workflow: How AI-Search Optimization Works
User Input: The user types a query into the search bar.
Query Enhancement (AI Optimization): The AI reviews the query and applies improvements (for example, spelling/grammar corrections).
Search Execution (Standard Global Search): Magentrix submits the enhanced query into the platform’s standard Global Search and returns results based on the normal search behavior.
Scope and Availability
Note: Magentrix AI Services are opt-in. The AI-search optimization feature is enabled in Setup > Company Preferences > System Settings.
