Sending Automated Emails to Your Recipients

You can choose between sending emails to your recipients through automation tasks or through scheduled jobs. You must first create email templates in order to send automated emails to your recipients. Within the templates, you can add merge fields to customize the emails. You will then need to create an email task and assign it to an automation trigger.

You can also send automated emails through schedule jobs and configure the job to run off a controller or with the use of email templates.

Each email automation task will send only one email to all addresses in the Email Property, instead of individual emails to all addresses. To prevent your contacts from being visible in your email, remember to add recipients under the BCC Email Property.

To prevent your emails from being sent to your recipients’ spam folders:

    • Write your email with relevant information

    • Add SPF and DKIM records to your DNS

    • Reduce use of Javascript, RSS feeds, excessive font colors, and URL shorteners within your email message

For more information on email task automations, see Creating and Managing Email Tasks for Automations. For more information on SPF and DKIM, see Authentication for Email Sending with Magentrix. For more information on email templates, see the Help Documentation.
