ABOUT THE TRAINING MODULE
The Magentrix Training Module, also referred to as the Learning Management System (LMS), is a simple way to create courses, lessons, and quizzes so users can access training materials on demand. For customers, partners and other external communities, this module provides a wide variety of administrator-created training materials in a user-friendly, interactive environment where they can complete lessons, program onboarding and certification. Social collaboration between users and administrators can be used to allow valuable feedback for improving content quality.
The Training Module is available through a feature license. Additional training licenses are available for employee users and community users.
The Dashboard is the home page where administrators can see activity reports, approve course requests, see which courses still need to be marked, and use quick links to navigate to essential module functions. It is also possible to see an Activity Log of all the actions that have been taken within the module.
The Courses tab allows administrators to create new courses, remove existing courses, and manage selected course content.
The Users tab allows administrators to review users to see which courses they have taken or requested, and assign them new courses.
The Reports tab allows administrators to view graphs regarding the status of their courses, course assignments, and user activities. Administrators can access, through quick links, customizable and detailed reports. For more information, see About the Reports and Dashboards Module.
The Settings tab allows administrators to configure general settings for the LMS module and configure permissions for Security Roles within the module.
This button switches administrators to the learner side and view courses as a learner.
For the module to be visible to users, it must be set up to be visible on Tabs and Apps. See Setting up Modules
