Managing Marketplace Vendors

Administrators can create marketplace vendors that are assigned to a CRM account through comprehensive vendor management systems that support partner relationship tracking, listing publication workflows, and business development activities. Partner publishers under the CRM account can then create new marketplace listings and publish approved listings for their vendors while maintaining appropriate organizational boundaries and content control.

Publishers can also track their listings and generate reports on views, requests, and resource engagement through integrated analytics systems that provide performance insights and business intelligence for partner relationship optimization and marketplace effectiveness measurement.

Requirements

To create marketplace vendors, users must be assigned a role with the following permissions:

  • Administrator System Role
  • Manage access

To edit or delete marketplace vendors, users must be assigned a role with the following permissions:

  • Administrator System Role
  • Publish Listings access
  • Manage access

Accessing Vendor Management

Setup Menu Navigation

Administrative Vendor Management:

  1. In the Setup Home page, click Create > Marketplace
  2. Click Marketplace Vendors
  3. Access comprehensive vendor management interface with administrative oversight capabilities

Marketplace Publishing Navigation

Publisher-Level Vendor Management:

  1. Navigate to the Marketplace Publishing page
  2. Access vendor management tools within the publishing workflow
  3. If directed to the Listings page, click Manage Vendors to access vendor configuration

  4. Click Edit to modify vendor information

  6. Click Save to apply vendor information changes

Cloning Vendor Profiles:

  1. Locate the vendor in the vendor management interface
  2. Click Clone to duplicate vendor configuration
  3. Configure the cloned fields with new vendor-specific information
  4. Click Save to create the new vendor based on the template

Deleting Vendor Profiles:

  1. Locate the vendor for removal
  2. Click Delete to initiate removal process
