Creating Tasks

 

Users can use the Magentrix platform to create and assign tasks. Users with tasks assigned will receive a notification the day a task is due or if there are overdue tasks.

Requirements

To create tasks, users must be assigned a security role with the following permissions:

  • Task (system), Read: Controlled By Parent
  • Task (system), Create: Yes

Administrators must first configure the portal to access the tasks function.


To create a task:

  1. Navigate to the Tasks entity.
  2. Click New.
  3. Configure the fields.
  4. Enter an optional description of the task.
  5. Click Save.
