Importing Salesforce Objects

Database entities held in Salesforce can be imported and synchronized to a Magentrix Entity.

To import Salesforce Objects, users must be assigned a security role with the following permissions:

To import Salesforce Objects, Salesforce must be configured as an API provider.

In the Setup Home page, click Extend > Salesforce.
Click New.
In the Entity Name dropdown menu, select the Salesforce Object you want to import.
If you want the Object to be read-only (i.e. the Magentrix instance cannot be modified), check Read Only.
Click Continue.
Select which field to import by using the checkboxes, then click Submit.
For each security role, define the permissions for the imported Object. This step can be skipped and completed later.
Click Save.
