Managing Imported Salesforce Objects
Once imported, Salesforce Objects can be managed in several ways in Magentrix. When Objects are modified in the Salesforce instance, users can resynchronize their Magentrix instance to properly reflect changes by refreshing the imported Object. Users can also edit security role permissions or delete imported Objects.
Requirements
To manage imported Salesforce Objects, users must be assigned a security role with the following permissions:
- Administrator System Role
To refresh imported Salesforce Objects:
- In the Setup Home page, click Extend > Salesforce.
- Click the imported Object you want to refresh.
- Click More Actions > Refresh. Click OK.
- In the next page, select with the checkboxes the fields that will be synchronized to Magentrix. If left unchecked, fields will not be synchronized into Magentrix.
- Click Submit.
To edit permissions for imported Salesforce Objects:
- In the Setup Home page, click Extend > Salesforce.
- Click the imported Object you want to edit.
- Click More Actions > Permissions.
- For each security role, define the permissions for the imported Object.
- Click Save.
To delete imported Salesforce Objects:
- In the Setup Home page, click Extend > Salesforce.
- Click the imported Object you want to delete.
- Click Delete. If you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click OK.
