Channel Dashboard

 

The channel dashboard offers a comprehensive suite of features to enhance channel management. Channel managers can monitor channel sales, partner portal activity, and partner coverage while also accessing performance analytics, lead generation insights, and deal tracking. The dashboard provides partner engagement and activity metrics for a holistic assessment of the channel's health.

Requirements

To use and configure the channel dashboard, users must be assigned a security role with one of the following permissions:

  • Administrator System Role
  • Other Settings: Channel Dashboard Access enabled. Account, Lead, Opportunity view permissions.

To use the channel dashboard:

  1. In the Setup Home page, navigate to Partner Management > Dashboard.
  2. This page will display pre-configured charts and summaries of partner data.
  3. Click the PipelinePartner Engagement, and Partner Coverage, to view different aspects of the partner data.
  4. Use the Data Range, Partner Account, and Partner User fields to filter the charts and summaries. Click Refresh to apply the filters and recalculate the dashboard.

To configure the channel dashboard:

  1. In the Setup Home page, navigate to Partner Management > Dashboard.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Configure the following settings:
    • Opportunity Field: In the Currency Value Field setting, select the field that will indicate the opportunity record's currency value. 
    • Partner Account Criteria: Use the filters to define the accounts that are partners.
    • Partner Location Heatmap: Use the Region and Region Resolution settings to select the map in the Partner Location > Partner Coverage tab. 
  4. Click Save.
