Using the Training Dashboard
The Training Dashboard provides administrators with a consolidated overview of learning activity within the portal. This central command center enables training managers to monitor participation, track progress, approve course requests, review pending assessments, and quickly access essential LMS management tools such as course creation, user assignments, and reporting.
The Dashboard serves as the primary interface for day-to-day training administration, combining interactive analytics, administrative workflows, and activity monitoring in a single, efficient workspace that supports proactive training program management and learner engagement.
Requirements
To access the Training Dashboard, users must be assigned a security role with one of the following permissions:

Accessing the Training Dashboard
1. Navigate to the Training module from your portal navigation menu
2. The Dashboard tab opens by default, displaying the main Dashboard view with analytics and widgets
3. Access the Activities sub-tab to view detailed chronological activity logs

Activity Report Chart
The Activity Report section displays an interactive visualization summarizing course-related activity with three filter options for focused analysis:
Completed Filter
Displays the number of courses completed within the last 30 days
Default view when opening the Dashboard
Provides insight into recent learner achievements and training program momentum
Helps identify completion trends and program effectiveness patterns
Assigned Filter
Displays the total number of active course assignments across all learners
Shows current training obligations and program scale

The Top 5 Courses widget displays the most active or frequently completed courses, providing visibility into popular training content and learner engagement patterns.

Completed: Shows courses with the highest completion counts, identifying successful training programs and valuable content
In Progress: Displays courses with the most active learners currently enrolled, highlighting current training priorities and engagement
Information Displayed
Course names with direct links to course management pages
Completion or enrollment counts depending on selected filter
Visual ranking indicating relative popularity or activity levels
Using Top 5 Courses Data
Identify high-performing courses for replication or enhancement
Recognize popular content that aligns with learner needs and organizational priorities
Monitor in-progress enrollments to ensure adequate support resources for active courses

Marking Required Widget
The Marking Required widget lists pending quizzes and assessments requiring administrator review and manual marking, enabling efficient assessment workflow management.

Displays quizzes containing free text or file upload questions awaiting instructor marking
Shows quiz names with direct links to marking interfaces
Lists learner names for each pending quiz submission
Indicates submission timing for prioritizing marking workflows
Default State
When no quizzes require marking, displays message: "No quizzes are waiting to be marked."
Marking Workflow
Click quiz name or learner name to access marking interface
Review learner responses to free text questions or file upload submissions
Enter marks for each question based on assessment rubrics and learning objectives
