4. Test Your Customer Portal
Step 4: Test Your Portal
Test out your Customer Community Portal by activating users and getting them to try out various aspects of your instance.
Creating and Enabling Users
If you’re planning on getting a wide range of users to begin using your customer portal, read User Management for a detailed walkthrough.
Bulk Enabling Users
Instead of enabling users individually, you can enable many at once with CSV files containing their Contact ID. Read this walkthrough for more information.
Enabling Self-Registration
Does your organization require customers to self-register for an account on your customer success portal? If so, you can Enable Self-Registration for your portal.
Setting up SSO
Magentrix supports Single Sign-On (SSO) so that your users can authenticate their credentials from an external site, such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter.
Email Automations
Want to know how your portal can speed up business processes? Magentrix supports Automation of tasks like email notifications and they can be triggered in two ways: by evaluating an Entity or Salesforce Object or by setting up rules, such as Filters or Formulas. Follow this guide on Creating Automations to improve your portal’s productivity!
Track User Activity
Curious to see how customers are using your portal? Magentrix has built-in Reports and Dashboards for User Activity that can help you oversee logins and other actions within the portal. Your Document Library and Training modules also have built-in reports to track uploads, course progress, and other data. Simply navigate to User Activity, the Reports module or click the bar graph icon within a desired module to start analyzing user activity!
