Popup Alerts Setup Checklist
Foundation Setup and Configuration
System Requirements and Access
☐ Administrator System Role Verification Ensure administrators have the proper Administrator System Role permissions required for complete Popup Alerts module configuration, content creation, and system-wide popup management capabilities.
☐ Additional Settings Permission Configuration Configure Security Roles with "Access Popup Alerts Enabled" permission under the Additional Settings tab. This permission is only available for Employee roles and must be enabled for users who will create and manage popup alerts.
☐ User Role Assessment Identify which Employee roles should have popup alert creation capabilities and update their Security Role configurations accordingly. Remember that viewing popup alerts requires no special permissions and is controlled by audience targeting criteria.
Module Access and Navigation
☐ Popup Alerts Module Access Verify that users with appropriate permissions can access the Popup Alerts module through both the Setup Home page (Create > Popup Alerts) and direct module navigation.
☐ Interface Familiarization Train administrators on the popup alert configuration interface including the six main tabs: Style, Display, Action, Publishing, Audience, and Analytics for comprehensive popup management.
☐ Media Preparation Infrastructure Establish processes for uploading and organizing images and videos that will be used in popup alerts, ensuring media files are properly stored in the portal before popup creation begins.
Content Creation and Design

☐ Frequency Setting Configuration Select appropriate "Show Again" settings (Every Session vs On Every Page) based on message importance, user experience considerations, and campaign objectives.
☐ Page Targeting Strategy Identify specific pages where popups should appear using URL targeting capabilities, considering user workflow patterns and contextual relevance of popup messages.
