The MDF Review Queue
The Review Queue is where your internal team works. It gathers everything awaiting a decision - fund requests and expense claims across your partners - into one list with aging and service-level indicators, so nobody has to go looking for what needs attention.
It is the first tab in MDF and the screen most reviewers keep open all day.
What Appears in the Queue
| Tab | Shows |
|---|
| All | Everything awaiting a decision |
| Requests | Fund requests only |
| Claims | Expense claims only |
There is no Activities tab, and that is deliberate. An individual activity is only ever pending because its parent request was submitted, and it is only ever decided inside that request. Activities therefore appear as part of the request they belong to, not as separate queue items.
You see only what you have access to. A channel manager with two programs sees items from those two programs; someone with the module-wide permission sees everything.
Reading a Row
Each row shows the partner, the item, its type, the amount, when it was submitted, its status, and its age against the service level.
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|
| On track | Within its service level |
| Due soon | Approaching its due date |
| Overdue | Past the service level set on the approval step |
The service level comes from the active approval step. An item whose step has no service level configured shows no indicator.
Overdue items are the ones the daily sweep escalates. Treating Due soon as your working threshold, rather than Overdue, is what keeps escalations rare - see Notifications and Background Jobs.
Working the Queue
Open an item to see its full detail and decide it. A fund request shows the activities it contains, and you decide the request as a whole - including approving it for less than was asked. See Approval Rules for what partial approval does to the committed amount.
Claims are decided on the strength of their proof of performance - see Claims, Proof and Reimbursement.
Approving is not paying. Approving a request commits budget; it does not move money. Reimbursement is a separate, administrator-only step.
