About Deal Management Settings

The Deal Management Settings page is the central configuration hub for managing how deal registrations, deal amendments, deal extensions, email-based deal submissions, and referral tracking behave within your Magentrix partner portal.

From this page, administrators can control notification workflows, configure field mappings to your connected CRM, define partner visibility rules, and set up automated reminders — all organized across six dedicated tabs.

Requirements

To configure Deal Management Settings, users must be assigned the following permission:

  • Administrator System Role

How to Access Deal Management Settings

To access the Deal Management Settings page:

  1. Navigate to Partner Management in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Deal Settings.

Overview of Tabs

The Deal Management Settings page is organized into six tabs:

Deal RegistrationConfigures internal and partner notifications when leads are submitted, approved, or rejected. Also manages lead ownership assignment and CRM lead tracking field mappings.
Deal InboxConfigures the Deal Inbox feature, which allows vendors to push deals/leads to partners for acceptance or rejection.
Deal Amendment FormControls how partners can edit or amend opportunities (deals) after they have been converted from leads.
Deal Closing ExtensionManages the deal closing extension feature, allowing partners to request extensions on the Exclusivity Expiration Date of their opportunities.
Email Deal RegistrationConfigures AI-powered deal registration via forwarded emails, including field mapping between detected email fields and CRM lead fields.
Referral SettingsConfigures referral tracking via the Magentrix PartnerTrack JS script.
Each tab has its own Save and Cancel buttons at the bottom. Clicking Save saves the settings for all tabs at once, not just the active tab.
