Organization Settings: Application Tab
The Application tab controls how your portal looks, how it presents itself to search engines, where its email comes from, and a small set of diagnostic settings. Go to Setup > Manage > Organization Settings and open the Application tab.
Branding
| Field | Notes |
|---|
| Application Fav Icon | Small PNG shown on the browser tab. |
| Default Logo | Shown on all pages unless the App being browsed has its own logo configured. |
| Print Logo | Used in print modes and emails where a bright or white background applies. Falls back to the default logo if empty. |
| Social Image | Shown on social media when a link to an article, document or video from your portal is shared. Preferred size 1200x630 px. |
| Language Flags | Displays country flags in the language selector. Only appears when your portal has more than one active language. |
| Preferred Theme | The portal theme. See the note below before selecting a custom theme. |
| Site Header, Site Footer | Documents rendered at the top and bottom of every page. Only appear when a custom theme is in use. |
Custom themes are gated. You can only select a custom theme if your portal already uses one or has custom-theme support on its plan. Otherwise the change is rejected when you save. Contact your Magentrix representative to add it.
Language Flags is hidden on single-language portals. If you cannot find it, activate a second language first - see Configuring Language Settings.

Under the Hood
Almost everything in this section is reserved for Magentrix host users. For an administrator, one field is editable:
| Field | Notes |
|---|
| Log Level | How much detail the Magentrix Event Log records - incidents, warnings, additional information, debug output. Higher levels produce more log volume. |
The following are visible only to host users and cannot be changed by an administrator: Cluster Enabled, Enable Debug Mode, Remove Portal Security Restrictions, Allow Account/Contact Assignment for Employee Users, Track Sharing permissions for each Post individually, Ask For Review, and the CRM Integration block (Account Entity, Contact Entity, Account Parent Field).
Enable Portal Emails appears only on Sandbox instances. When unchecked, the portal sends no email at all.
Email Settings
| Field | Notes |
|---|
| Send Emails From | The address used when notifications and automation emails go out. Changed through a guided verification flow, not by typing into the field - see Sender Email and Custom SMTP. |
| Enable Email Log | Host only. Records processed emails to a log. |
Application Paths
| Field | Notes |
|---|
| Organization URL | Visible to administrators, but changes are rejected on save unless you are a host user. |
| Magentrix URL | Host only. |
| Instance IP | Host only. |
If you need any of these changed, contact your Magentrix representative.
