Creating Entity Tabs

 

Entity Tabs access Magentrix Entities or Salesforce Objects and the records found within.

Requirements

To create Entity Tabs, users must be assigned a security role with the following permissions:

  • Administrator System Role

To create entity tabs:

  1. In the Setup Home page, click Create > Tabs.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select Entity Tab and then click Next.
  4. In the Entity field, select the Entity you want the Tab to access.
  5. In the Tab Style field, select a visual style for the Tab.
  6. If you want to provide additional information to users, enter information in the Tool Tip and Description fields.
  7. Click Next.
  8. If you want to immediately configure the Tab for security roles, change the value in the Tab Visibility field for each security role. This step can be skipped and configured later.
  9. Click Next.
  10. If you want to immediately add the Tab to Apps, check the Apps in which you want to include this Tab.
  11. Click Save.
